Product Overview
The HIMA F6217 is an 8‑channel safety‑certified analog input module for HIMA HIQuad H41q‑H and H51q‑H safety PLC racks. It receives analog current and voltage signals from field transmitters for pressure, temperature, flow and level measurements, converts analog field signals into digital values and transmits safety‑validated data to the safety controller over the system backplane bus. Built‑in channel diagnostics detect wire break, short‑circuit and out‑of‑range sensor faults. Front‑panel LED indicators offer quick visual status check for each channel and module health. Hot‑swap capability allows on‑line replacement without full system shutdown. Widely used as spare replacement for existing ESD and F&G safety installations in process plants.
