The ABB SACO16D1-AA is a microprocessor-based 16-channel digital annunciator unit designed for monitoring alarm and signaling contacts in electrical and industrial installations. It can supervise on/off signals from normally open or normally closed field contacts and provide immediate visual and audible indication when an abnormal condition occurs. ABB identifies the SACO 16D1 as part of its SPACOM integrated secondary equipment system.
The unit is commonly used in power plants, substations, industrial process installations, offshore facilities and marine applications where centralized alarm monitoring and reliable event indication are required.
